Digital communications provides students with opportunities to learn and demonstrate the principals involve and the methods needed to effectively communicate in a digital environment. This system emphasizes the application of tools and technology through the development of slideshows, audio/visual presentations, websites and other digital environments and content.

SmartLab Heroes
You may have noticed that many things in the lab have names. All the computers are named, and the printers too - Gutenberg and Picasso. Even the 3D printer - Chuck (in full Chuck Hull) - has a name. Everyone of the names you see in the lab has made major contributions to the STEAM field throughout history. One project you might choose is to research and present on one of these SmartLab heroes. Here is some information to aid in your research.
